The second most visited zoo in the US has over 6,000 animals spread out over 55 acres. Enjoy feeding the giraffes or ride on the carousel. In the summer, children can enjoy the splash pad. Sure to delight young and old!

Glass pyramids host an aquarium as well as a rain forest, along with an IMAX theater. Don’t forget to ride on the old fashioned paddle boat! 4-star hotel on park grounds for a luxurious vacation.

The Crocodile Capital of Texas, featuring crocodiles, alligators, as well as other animals. Feed an alligator or hold a baby one!

houston aquarium - $$

See fish and over 300 types of aquatic creatures! For an additional fee you can pet and feed the stingrays. Rides for children are located right outside with purchase of separate ride pass.

bayou wildlife preserve - $$$

See and feed over 60 different types of wild animals while on a tram ride, as well as a petting zoo and pony rides.
