This Simchas Torah, for the fourth year in a row we launched a new initiative. The new project encourages everyone to learn hilchos shmiras halashon on a regular basis. Let's take the achdus and inspiration from Simchas Torah with us into the new year! With this relatively small commitment we will be elevating ourselves, our families and our community. Many members of the community have already signed up for this campaign.

1) Learn it on your own pace! A halacha a day, a halacha at the Shabbos table...whatever. We’ll even provide the sefer!

2) Many local shuls (Bet Rambam, YI, Heimish, Torah Vachesed and more to come-all are welcome!) will be learning one halacha from Sefer Chofetz Chaim (Shmiras Halashon) after Maariv every week night.

3) Rabbi Menachem Bresler will record an Erev Shabbos WhatsApp audio tidbit on Hilchos Loshon Hara. This material can be used as a springboard for discussion at your Shabbos table.
